Here are my predictions for tonight. Many of them are based on random guess, hunch or "should win" feeling rather than buzz. For the first 6 categories, the most important ones, I especially decided to go against "buzz" in maybe 2-3 categories. Here are my predictions:

Best Music: Babel
Best Art Direction: Pan's Labyrinth
Best Cinematography: Children of Men
Best Costume Design: Curse of the Golden Flower
Best Makeup: Apocalypto
Best Visual Effects: Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest
Best Documentary: An Inconvenient Truth
Best Animated Film: Happy Feet
Best Foreign Film: Pan's Labyrinth
Random Guesses:
Best Sound Editing: Blood Diamond
Best Sound Mixing: Blood Diamond
Best Documentary Short: The Blood of Yingzhou District
Best Animated Short Film: The Little Matchgirl
Best Live Action Short film: West Bank Story
